Starting from the port of Kyllini, which connects the Peloponnese with two beautiful Ionian Islands: Zakynthos and Kefalonia, you can discover an unknown hidden treasure of endless beautiful beaches.

Beach Kafkalida named after the Kafkalida isle, which hosts from 1906 the large stone lighthouse 15 meters high. The beach is unknown, so it is an ideal place to enjoy the sea, read, or if you are in the mood, swim to the island and the lighthouse.

Heading south, you will cross the very long beach of Chrisi Akti under the shadow of Castle Chlemoutsi. Wide beach with fine sand and clear waters for all tastes. Along the beach you can find secluded spots where you can isolate but also spots with beach bars, canteens, rooms, hotels and camping. Behind you stands the beautiful medieval castle, and in front of you there is Zakynthos and Kefalonia to gaze.

Then if you're willing to walk the length of beach you will find yourself in the Bathhouse of Kyllini or Lintzi, as the locals call it. The same clear water bordering a large area of dunes that are decorated with white lilies. Behind you the pine forest just above the thermal spa known since antiquity and Roman times as evidenced by the ruins of the spas. In this beach operate the most luxurious hotels.

Shortly after, on the edge of the cape, there is the small beach of Arkoudi, where you can find many cafes, restaurants, taverns, bars and rented rooms. Continue further and you will reach the beach of Glyfa with crystal waters and pine trees which reach the beach. On the beach there is a bar and the oldest tavern in the area. In the village there are many contemporary rooms. At the edge of the beach is the Ionian village of archdiocese of America which annually hosts children from America. South lies the beach Thinon Vartholomiou with deeper waters, fine sand and bars. Above the beach you can enjoy the pine forest that covers a fairly large area.

In most of the beaches municipalities provide free umbrellas and sunbeds, while the bars offer the services free of charge. The beaches of Elis continue for kilometers waiting for you to explore ...
